Born in Walcha, New South Wales and now residing on the Sunshine Coast, Alesha Cox expressed an interest in drawing and colour from an early age and began her formal studies in art at high school.  Alesha has been a full-time artist since graduating from Noosaville TAFE with a Diploma of Visual Arts in 2001.

Alesha explores the female form in an semi-abstract figurative style. Her paintings have a sense of radiant energy enhancing the beautiful subjects and their surroundings. Each work has a sense of peacefulness, unity and inner calm.

Exploring other mediums such as silver-smithing, mosaic and ceramics has strengthened her design skills and knowledge and use of colour.

Alesha's attention to detail enriches each and every work of art which is her signature for portraying and embracing the 'Feminine Spirit'.
